We're a small, family-owned practice — three dentists, six hygienists, and a staff that's been together for over a decade. Many of our patients have been with us for more than 15 years.

Our Story

22 years, 9,400 patients, one quiet building on Cedar Park Drive.

Dr. Anya Patel opened Cedar Park Family Dentistry in 2003 in a converted craftsman bungalow. She wanted to build a practice that felt like the opposite of a clinic — soft chairs, no fluorescent lights, music playing, dogs occasionally welcome.

Twenty-two years later, the practice has grown to three doctors and a full hygiene team, but the bungalow is still the bungalow, and the goal is still the same.

We're independent. We're not owned by a corporation, a private-equity group, or a chain. The dentist who treats you is the dentist whose name is on the door.

Dr. Anya Patel

Founder · DDS

Trained at Ohio State, in practice 26 years. Special interest in dental anxiety. Mom of two and one wildly opinionated terrier named Biscuit.

Dr. Marcus Chen

Restorative · DDS

Specializes in same-day CEREC crowns and full-mouth restoration. Joined Cedar Park in 2014. Cyclist, lousy guitar player, very good dad.

Dr. Sarah Whitman

Pediatric · DMD

Pediatric specialist — kids, teens, and "anyone who needs a little extra patience." Joined the practice in 2019. Backyard chicken keeper.
